St. Martins is a small village in New Brunswick along the shore of the Bay of Fundy, where the tides can reach 40 feet in places. When we first arrived here the tide was out, the water was just gone from the harbor. While I sketched it continues to flow out. We returned here to St. Martins much later the same day and the boats were floating nicely alongside the wharf. This watercolor is approximately 22X15 inches on Arches rough watercolor paper, framed in Oak. There is no sales tax for artwork in Rhode Island.
